The UnternehmensBoerse Groenig & Kollegen AG successfully arranged the transfer and further development of a hairdressing chain
The sale of the hairdressing chain with 19 locations and more than 100 employees based in Berlin was successfully executed by the consultants of the business exchange. The sale due to age-related reasons took place within a short time span.
The particular challenge of this mandate was to maintain the utmost confidentiality throughout the sales process, fearing that indiscretions could potentially launch competitive attacks on branches and employees.
These requirements had to be given much attention during the mandate contract design in order to establish rights, obligations and liability issues. The tendering process for the mandate was successfully won by the business exchange.
The search for buyers initiated by the business stock exchange quickly led to success. Thus, the seller decided, from more than 30 applications, to work with an entrepreneur couple who had already successfully implemented a similar concept in NRW ( North Rhine-Westphalia).
After an extensive credit check, a financing concept with the house banks was worked out with the assistance of the buyer’s financing consultant. The preparations took three months. It took another three months until the notarized conclusion of the contract, so that the sale of the company could be realized after a total of only eight months at the desired sales price of the seller.
The hairdressing chain has now changed its market appearance and starts with a new appearance towards further growth.
