Sale of a family business in the information and communications sector

The company from Rhineland-Palatinate was to be sold for reasons of age, as there was no successor within the family. The business generated sales of around one million euros per year and had most recently operated with 8 employees.

Primarily, larger copier and printing systems with software were rented or leased. A high percentage of the company's revenue was generated from rental and service contracts.

At the request of a prospective buyer known to the company exchange Grönig & Kollegen AG, a company was being sought in this area. After creating a meaningful sales memorandum, this was presented to the interested party. Since the desired parameters were known in advance, an agreement between the two parties could quickly be reached through a short-term due diligence and an appraisal of the property. As a result the purchase contract could already be signed at the end of February 2021, i.e. after only four months.

The buyer has acquired a company that was founded in 1986, which he can continue to run due to its high quality and a very loyal customer structure and take it in the direction of being an IT system house with security, ERP and cloud solutions. This is the great added value for the purchasing company.
